Dynamics

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

(Redirected from Dynamic)

Dynamics may refer to:

  • Dynamics (mecanics), the branch of classical mechanics that is concerned with the effects of forces on the motion of objects
  • Dynamics (music), In music, dynamics refers to the softness or loudness of a sound or note. The term is also applied to the written or printed musical notation used to indicate dynamics.

Dynamics may also refer to

  • Microsoft Dynamics, business software for customer relationship management and enterprise resource planning
  • Thermodynamics, a branch of physics that studies the effects of changes in temperature, pressure, and volume on physical systems
  • Psychodynamics, the study of the interrelationship of various parts of the mind, personality, or psyche as they relate to mental, emotional, or motivational forces especially at the subconscious level
  • Neurodynamics, an area of research in the brain sciences which places a strong focus upon the spatio-temporal (dynamic) character of neural activity in describing brain function
  • Gravitational dynamics, a term used in the study of gravitation
  • Power dynamics, the dynamics of power, used in sociology
  • (A motor skill is a skill that requires an organism to utilize their skeletal muscles effectively. Motor skills and motor control depend upon the proper functioning of the brain, skeleton, joints, and nervous system. Most motor skills are learned in early childhood, although disabilities can affect motor skills development. Motor development is the development of action and coordination of one’s limbs, as well as the development of strength, posture control, balance, and perceptual skills. = In psychology and the cognitive sciences, perception is the process of acquiring, interpreting, selecting, and organizing sensory information. => mindset, instead of attitude)

Kinematics

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Kinematics describes the motions of objects without the consideration of the masses or forces that bring about the motion. By contrast, dynamics is concerned with the forces and interactions that produce or affect the motion.

=> … Kinesiology is the scientific study of human movement. While an understanding of kinesiology is fundamental for the analysis and treatment of problems in the musculoskeletal system, it is not – unlike applied kinesiology” (AK) – a stated method for the treatment or diagnosis of illness.

+

Biomechanics is the research and analysis of the mechanics of living organisms or the application and derivation of engineering principles to and from biological systems. The research and analysis can be carried forth on multiple levels, from the molecular, wherein biomaterials such as collagen and elastin are considered, all the way up to the tissue and organ level.

=

Kinesiotherapy is the application of scientifically based exercise principles adapted to enhance the strength, endurance, and mobility of individuals with functional limitations of those requiring extended physical conditioning.

The Kinesiotherapist is an allied health professional competent in the administration of musculoskeletal, neurological, ergonomic, biomechanical, psychosocial, and task specific functional tests and measures. The Kinesiotherapist determines the appropriate evaluation tools and interventions necessary to establish, in collaboration with the client, a goal specific treatment plan.

… A personal trainer is a fitness professional … to exercise leadership in healthy populations and/ or those individuals with medical clearance to exercise.

The emphasis on personal training should come from the personal trainer’s understanding of what works best for their client and an understanding of human movement. It is not just about pushing someone hard, but more about working out at an effective level to achieve their goals. A few people need only one session to get them on the right track, ensure their program is balanced, and answer their questions. Others prefer to work with a trainer for several months to get in the habit of exercise and to see actual results. And still others who can afford the price prefer to work with a trainer indefinitely because they feel that they will get better results and have more fun working with a trainer then working alone.

… There are many personal trainers who offer their clients a range of services from exercise testing to postural exercises to helping with habitual behavior change.

Aerobic exercise

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

 … Aerobic exercise versus aerobics

History

Both the term and the exercise method were developed by Kenneth H. Cooper, M.D., an exercise physiologist of the U.S. Air Force. Dr. Cooper, an avowed exercise enthusiast, was personally and professionally puzzled about why some people with excellent muscular strength were still prone to poor performance at tasks such as long-distance running, swimming, and bicycling.

Critiques

… upper-body muscular strength, is usually neglected. Also, the metabolic pathways involved in anaerobic metabolism (glycolysis and lactic acid fermentation) that generate energy during high intensity, low duration tasks such as sprinting, are not exercised at peak rates. …

b) :dance, exercise, aiki

c) : women, man, myth or dual/ family

d) aerobic aiki: low impact -> circular exercises -> high-acrobatic level

e) aiki means: aerobic pro Ki; Ki = remember anatomy lessons, brain activity, EKG.
